My Celebrity-Style Morning Skincare Routine 👑

My Celebrity-Style Morning Skincare Routine 👑

After all the hardship I’ve faced, I believe I am a celebrity — and I treat myself like one every morning. My skincare routine is not just about glowing skin, it’s my self-care ritual that helps me feel empowered and relaxed.

🌿 Step 1: Cleansing + Ice Bath I begin by gently cleansing my face. Then comes my favorite part — an ice bath for the face using an ice roller. I move it in upward directions to lift and de-puff, and hold it for 5 seconds under the eyes to reduce puffiness and dark circles. I also place it on my closed eyelids for 10 seconds each — it’s my little moment of zen and relaxation.

💎 Step 2: Chilled Massage with Jade Roller & Gua Sha Especially in summers, I use a chilled jade roller and gua sha. First, I apply flax seed oil (perfect for my combination skin — you can use sweet almond oil if you’re unsure what suits you).
I massage in upward strokes, starting from the inner to outer corners of my eyes, covering my whole face and neck. Then I use the gua sha tool for a gentle scraping massage. It’s so soothing — I feel all the tension melting away.

💧 Step 3: Rinse Off Oil Residue I rinse my face with warm water or use a soft towel dampened with warm water to gently remove any excess oil. My skin feels refreshed, soft, and ready for hydration.

☀️ Step 4: Moisturizer + Sunblock Before sunblock, I apply a lightweight moisturizer — unless I’m using a moisturizing sunblock, then I skip this step.
My go-to is the Nexton SPF 50 Sunblock (a Pakistani brand). It does leave a slight white cast but suits my skin well and gives me good protection — even while cooking in the kitchen.

🌞 Seasonal Add-ons:

  • In winters: I use a hyaluronic acid serum before moisturizer and sunblock to keep my skin hydrated.

  • In summers: I sometimes apply a caffeine serum before layering on my moisturizer and SPF.

This simple yet luxe routine helps me maintain flawless, glowing skin. The ice bath soothes, the jade and gua sha massage relieves stress, and the SPF protects — because skincare isn’t just about beauty, it’s a form of healing. 💖
